I had a really great stay at Urban Anaga Hotel – the location is perfect right in the centre of Santa Cruz, so everything like shops, restaurants, and the main attractions is just a short walk away. The hotel itself feels very modern and stylish, and my room was clean, comfortable, and nicely designed, which made it easy to relax after a day of exploring. I especially loved the rooftop area with bar – such a nice spot to unwind with beautiful views of the city. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it for anyone who wants a central, modern, and comfortable hotel in Santa Cruz.

They really need to decide if this is a hotel or a nightclub. Our room was on the 6th floor and a night club is on the 7th floor. The music is so loud our whole room was shaking until 3am. How can you have a nightclub in a hotel? it’s madness. Avoid this place there are many better hotels in Santa Cruz

I have to admit this was, to this day one of my favorite hotels, not only in the Canaries, but globally. It was a romantic trip around the island with my ex-fiancee, but that doesn't change the fact that the hotel itself is a rare find of old meets new, and quirky neon infused vibe. The view is spectacular. From the balkony and rooftop bar you can enjoy the spectacular rugid Anaga mountains as well as the view of the nearby ocean. Ocasionally you can see the West coast of neighboring Gran Canaria. Pleasant interior design with unique concepts makes it for an unforgettable experience. People who lowered the rating by complaining about the rooftop bar should think twice before they speak or write reviews. The rooftop bar was one of the highlights o our stay. If you don't like lounge music just book one of the plenty other 4 star options in Santa Cruz.

Zero sleep. Nightclub within the building it sounded like! People running and screaming through the corridors until half 4 in the morning. Tram noise from outside. Room soulless and no soft furnishings to absorb any of the noise. Pointless balcony. Furniture cigarette burnt and generally tired. Bed springs uncomfortable. Welcome at front desk was friendly, but didn’t mention breakfast, didn’t mention suing the gym or opening hours of anything including the advertised rooftop bar. Was more interested in taking a credit card from me to secure against the room which considering the existing damage and quality of furnishings in the room was a joke! Kettle in room but no coffee, just loads of sugar. Bathroom and bedroom both stank of chlorine, this place is not eco friendly or using sustainable cleaning products. Air con wasn’t on in the room upon arrival and since we weren’t shown to our room, it wasn’t clear how to use it. Turns out it’s managed and set by reception which is fine, had it actually been switched on. Would not recommend staying here to anyone.

It’s a hotel and a CLUB! A freaking CLUB that closes at 4am. I don’t know how they even got a license for this! It can drive even the most sane mad!! Not to mention how tacky and cheap looking everything is. The worst experience ever! AVOID AVOID AVOID
