Café Teatro Rayuela

The food is not bad, though far from excellent. The real problem is one waiter. Last night we were greeted by a rude, arrogant man who clearly had no interest in doing his job and even resisted seating us at the table we had reserved. The waitress was kind and professional; he, on the other hand, treated us like naïve tourists and tried to play smart. He even attempted to charge us 8 euros for bread we never ordered. Thankfully, the waitress removed the charge. The man seems to believe he’s clever. He isn’t.

Talking about the so called jazz club. Music was rubbish today. Started 40 minutes late. Show only lasted one hour and staff was talking with girl friend in the middle of a performance. No respect to jazz lovers. Avoid

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Cofé Theatro. When I entered and politely asked for an espresso, I was greeted with an unprofessional and rude 'hey,' making me feel unwelcome. The man behind the bar bluntly told me it wasn’t a coffee shop—despite a coffee machine clearly visible. The interaction was unnecessarily mean and confusing, leaving me feeling disrespected. If this is how they treat potential customers, I’d suggest avoiding this place altogether.

Really nice place in centre of Santa Cruz. Food was amazing and friendly staff!
