Wonderful experience. Service on par / better than most 3-star restaurants I've been to. Tasting menu was well balanced with the "El Hierro" shrimp the standout dish. Beautiful contrast of flavour, texture and temperature. Tried both wine tasting options which complimented the food very well for the majority of dishes. The 2021 Petra was the standout for me - stunning wine. Expansive cheese trolley showcasing both local and international produce was another highlight. All in all, a wonderful evening. Pushing 3 star level - highly recommended.
MB Restaurant delivered a truly memorable evening. The food was exceptional throughout and the service was exactly what you would hope for from a two-star experience. Polished, attentive and effortlessly professional without ever feeling stiff. Our waitress in particular was charming and engaging, striking that perfect balance between warmth and precision that elevates a meal from excellent to special. As a vegetarian, I was especially pleased to discover they offer a dedicated vegetarian tasting menu. Too often vegetarian options feel like an afterthought in fine dining, but that was absolutely not the case here. The menu was thoughtful, creative and beautifully executed from start to finish. Every course felt considered and balanced, and it was genuinely one of the best vegetarian tasting experiences I’ve had. If I had to mention a couple of very minor points, the dining room was a little cold on the evening we visited, so bringing a light sweater wouldn’t be a bad idea. It’s also a shame there aren’t views from the restaurant other than the curtains, which feels like a missed opportunity given the location. That said, these are small details in what was otherwise an outstanding experience. Exceptional food, superb two-star level service, and a vegetarian tasting menu that truly stands on its own. A restaurant well worth visiting.
Wow. Just wow. An unbelievable experience from beginning to end. When you first enter M.B. you are warmly greeted and escorted to their lounge area where you will relax and enjoy the hors d'oeuvres and select your wine for the evening ahead of moving into the restaurant for the main event. We decided to go with the wine pairing alongside the tasting menu. There are too many courses to review here and do it justice but our favourites were the seabass, wagyu beef, lemon pallet cleanser, and the red tuna. The wine selection was equally as good and the sommelier was knowledgeable and happy to answer questions we had. Overall the food was of an incredibly high standard but just as impressive was the service which truly makes a difference between a one and two Michelin star restaurant.
This was a fabulous experience for my birthday. I came with my mom and we had the best experience. It was so much food and very good. she is vegetarian and they had a full degustation menue for her too.
Wow, where to begin? This is an exceptional restaurant. Having been to a few three-Michelin-star restaurants recently, I would put M.B. right up there with the best of them, alongside The Ledbury. In my opinion, this is cooking at a three-star level. Everything was quite simply fantastic. The service was friendly and informative without ever being overbearing or feeling forced. The sommelier was exceptional. She had a brilliant knack of knowing exactly when to offer a taste or sample to help us choose between options. The wine was first class — genuinely some of the very best you can get at this price level. We had the regular tasting menu last year and the Grand Tasting Menu this year, and I would absolutely recommend spending the extra €60 for the Grand. It is simply magnificent. There is so much variety and attention to detail, and the presentation throughout is fantastic. I particularly loved the start of the meal, including an incredible smoky foie gras and a tiny, supercharged omelette served on a spoon. From there we moved into the main dining room, where we had a fantastic view of the sunset going down. Every dish was up to scratch, but particular favourites for me were the red tuna ceviche, the soldier shrimp and the Wagyu millefeuille. The quantities were more than filling, and the desserts were carefully thought out to be light and refreshing. Our favourite was the smoked corn dessert, which was a visual marvel — completely unique and exactly the kind of dish that gives a restaurant an edge and stays with you afterwards. This is quite simply a must-visit for any fine-dining enthusiast. I loved every minute of it and will definitely be back.
