Guachinche El Romance

The first guachinche I visited in Tenerife, and I absolutely loved it. The place is quite unique, and we were seated indoors in a very cozy and private spot. The food was absolutely delicious! We opted for small plates to share and tried many local delicacies, including escaldón. Our waiter was incredible - super attentive, friendly, and gave us lots of great recommendations. I will definitely go back!

First guachinche experience and it was awesome. Great wine, apps and meats, oh my!! the meats! Housemade chorizo, torched on the table, is like a silky spreadable nduja. The gigantic chuleta was flavorful and juicy, ham croquetas were perfect, the whole sautéed mushrooms were full of flavor and very meaty. Conejo was perfectly cooked. Didn't care for the bistec (pork filet), kind of dry and overcooked. You have to go to at least one guachinche when visiting Tenerife.

Funky terraces with props and palm trees. Lots o local families. Good meat. A lot of it. Vegetables not very tasty, plain and simple kitchen. Sometimes too sweet, like pineapple in the salad.

A restaurant unlike any other. I was sitting in a place full of plants, trees, on the terrace. It was raining a bit that day, so I left a little wet. But the impressions were positive. Quite a long wait for dinner. The food was fine. Nice, atmospheric restaurant but didn't impress me much.
