Low-key lodging featuring free Wi-Fi & breakfast, plus a rooftop pool & a restaurant.via Google

Ein Innenhofhotel aus dem 19. Jahrhundert in der Altstadt, an den Rändern abgenutzt, aber mit einer zentralen Lage und einem Charakter, dem kein neueres Hotel der Stadt etwas entgegensetzen kann.

My wife and I spent a week here. Staff are super friendly and helpful, the foyer is beautifully filled with plants which give a real comfort and Mediterranean feel. We loved the history of the hotel, including all the awards and pictures of past times (gives the hotel meaning) Everywhere was impeccably clean and the maids were always cleaning something. They were also super cheerful. The rooms are very functional, comfy clean bed, power shower and most of all quiet of a night. The room/bathroom could do with a bit of updating, but that is my only comment. It certainly didn't ruin our stay. Breakfast is served from 0730-1030 by cheerful staff. The selection is ample, nothing extravagant, even as vegetarians we still managed to get a good start to the day. Speaking of food, Don Carlos restaurant is part of the hotel, they have the best tapas, and you can sit and people watch. If you want a hotel in the heart of it all and you're not bothered about how extravagant the room is,then I'd suggest a stay here. We're already looking to book again.

Fantastic location and the most friendly staff, everyone was so welcoming. Really enjoyed having the pool area, room was great but the only drawback is the beds are not very comfortable. But, all things considered, still a wonderful place to stay, I’d go back again!

Situated directly in the old town. Great bars, restaurants and shopping all around. Very friendly staff. That's the positive. Rooms are very small and old. Everything is outdated. Bathroom smelled of chemicals and is so small. Silicone is black with mould and faucets are calcified and mouldy as well. At first the room itself looked fairly clean but still a bit dusty. Additionally it's quite loud in the room. You can just everything from the corridors and the neighbouring rooms. Unfortunately not worth the money. At night the bedbugs came out. So went to reception at about 1am. Nighty was really nice and apologetic. Gave me a new room. So packed all my stuff, got into the new room. First thing I did was taking a shower and there in the bathroom they were - cockroaches. Now it's 3am I can't sleep and I feel itchy and can't stop crying because I am afraid to have bedbugs and roaches in my luggage and I am dead tired. Booked with TUI so hoping for a new hotel to stay at. The lobby is nice and really looks like in the pictures. But for the rooms, the best photos have already been selected in the best angle. This is really misleading.

Perfect location if you want a break in town. View of the sea from the pool terrace. Rooms facing square, with balcony, are great. Plenty of food available at breakfast and the tapas bar at front of hotel is one of the best in town.

The staff are lovely and the hotel is great. The hotel is showing its age but we like it as it goes with the surrounding area. We call it authentic. Our room was dated but the mattresses were amazing very good sleep. Pool area is dated but the pool hot tube and sauna are in good order. The breakfast isn’t the best but it’s ok 6 out of 10 for that. Very clean well done staff. Lovely location best in town I think.
